THE CHATS announce extra dates for NZ tour

TWO EXTRA SHOWS ADDED

The greatest ever pub/punk band to come out of Australia’s Sunshine Coast, at least the only band we can think of, The Chats announced their first New Zealand tour earlier this week.

Two extra shows have been added to the exciting run of dates which includes Auckland, Mt Maunganui, Raglan and Wellington. After sell-out tours across Australia and the UK, Kiwis finally get to go on the greatest smoko of their lives! Full dates below.

Sunshine Coast pub/punk rockers, The Chats, came in hot with probably the most relatable song of 2017, 'Smoko'. The cracker of a tune is an ode to the nationally-familiar worksite break known as "smoko" which involves a durry, maybe a tea and most likely a pie. (Fittingly... the song was conceived on the way to purchase a pie).

Within 20 hours of uploading the video it quickly became a viral sensational and currently sits at just over 5 million views on YouTube! Watch the video below.

The Chats consists of lead singer and bassist Eamon Sandwith, guitarist Josh Price and drummer Matt Boggis. You can listen to their EP Get This In Ya here.
