THE BUBBLE SHOW!
By Eran ‘The Bubble Man’ – Touring 18 North Island Centres
January 30 – March 3, 2019
The record-breaking bubble man returns to our shores on a whirlwind 18-centre North Island tour of The Bubble Show! Master bubbleologist Eran has delighted crowds the world over, and now holds a Guinness World Record – for putting the greatest number of people inside giant soap bubbles in 30 seconds!
Eran, better known as The Highland Joker – has been an absolute hit in New Zealand, winning the Audience-Choice Award at the Nelson Fringe 2018, as well as Face TV’s Best Family-Act Award in 2016. He has captured some of our biggest names with his bubble antics, including putting our own PM Jacinda Ardern inside a giant bubble and teaching the Blues rugby team a few bubbly tricks as part of a mental health awareness campaign. He also has a pending World Record for enclosing his wife inside an enormous bubble for 63 seconds – the longest in the world!
The Highland Joker creates marvels in his show that is a unique blend of magic, storytelling, and bubble-art. Ginormous bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, bouncy bubbles, smoke bubbles, square bubbles, and even fire bubbles are used in this captivating display, suitable for all ages. For those truly inspired, there is also the chance to learn the craft and have a play yourself, with performances in several centres followed by a hands-on workshop.
"I was travelling when I discovered the craft of giant soap bubbles, so now I feel really humbled to get to make a living from taking my bubble-art around the world!” says Eran. “It’s amazing seeing how people react with amazement and laughter – these spheres of water and soap and air are so simple yet so magical and profound!”
The record-breaking bubble artist heads out on his largest North Island tour to date, having previously performed in New Zealand as well as the UK, USA and Europe. Eran will visit 18 centres over five weeks with his one-man-show, and with multiple sessions in major centres there is ample opportunity to check out the wonderment of The Bubble Show for yourself!
