New Year’s Eve at Rhythm and Alps in Wanaka is set to be another cracker tonight with 10,000 people expected to party in the Cardrona Valley.
About 6000 revellers were in good spirits at R last night, the second night of the South Island’s biggest annual music festival and New Year’s party. Festival-goers are making the most of the scorching hot temperatures by swimming in the Cardrona River and sheltering from the sun under the shade tents before the party turns up another level this afternoon and tonight.
Headline acts to play tonight include ACTION BRONSON, MATT CORBY, BICEP, MY BABY, MC TALI, LTJ BUKEM, plus Kiwi favourites THE BLACK SEEDS and JULIA DEANS.
