Three Wins Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday Night
Takes Out the Week in 25-54

Three won Tuesday (23.5% share), Wednesday (21.5% share), Friday (23.3% share) and Sunday (28.1% share) night last week, taking out the week in the 25-54 demographic with a 21.8% share average. The broadcaster is currently averaging a 20.1% share for the year-to-date.

Three’s action-packed adrenaline hit Australian Ninja Warrior continues to smash ratings, regularly beating the competition in its timeslot. Airing on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights the show won its timeslot last night with a 24.4% audience share and 6.7 rating in 25-54. This was followed with a timeslot winning performance by hit movie The Magnificent Seven (31.6% share, 6.4 rating).

Australian Ninja Warrior also won its timeslot on Monday night against local show Project Runway NZ, and again on Tuesday night against The Great Kiwi Bake Off. Tonight, 22 year old Kiwi, India Henry, takes on the formidable obstacle course. The former competitive Gymnast from Gore will need to call on every ounce of strength and stamina to tackle one of the toughest endurance challenges on the planet.

The Project had another strong week, winning the current affairs audience on Wednesday (3.8 rating, 17.6% audience share) and Thursday (4.3 rating, 16.3% audience share) night in the commercially important 25-54 demographic. Across the week, the show attracted an average of 78,752 viewers.

Grand Designs NZ continues to be an audience favourite on Wednesday evenings, consistently winning its timeslot. Last week it hit a 27.8% share and 6.5 rating and on ThreeNow, season four continues its run as the most popular so far with on demand viewing up 17% versus season three. Live steam-viewing is also up 41% and the show continues to rank highly in the weekly ThreeNow top 10.
Following Grand Designs NZ this week, the season finale of Gogglebox NZ airs at 8.30PM, this will be followed by an encore screening at 9.45PM on Friday night.

Newshub Live at 6pm has also recorded its second highest performing week of the year, averaging a 24.3% share and attracting 101,222 viewers (25-54). Following Melissa Davies’ comprehensive coverage of the Royal Tour last week, Mike McRoberts will be reporting live from the US this week as he covers the mid-term elections.

Tuesday: NCIS: Los Angeles (18.4% share, 3.6 rating)
Wednesday: The AM Show (29.3%, 1.8 rating), Hawaii Five-O (17.7%, 3.0 rating)
Friday: The Graham Norton Show (25.1% share, 6.7 rating), 7 Days (25.3% share, 6.2 rating)
