Introducing Vine Days

Introducing Vine Days
CRAIG DAVID, ALL SAINTS, AARADHNA + OPENSOULS SET TO TAKE OVER VILLA MARIA THIS SUMMER

From the people that are bringing you Friday Jams Live, Illusive Presents, Frontier Touring along with Eccles Entertainment are thrilled to announce the inception of a brand new summer winery escape. Introducing the inaugural Vine Days taking place on Auckland Anniversary Weekend, January 2019 featuring an A-Class line-up!

The ultimate summer day will see the very first New Zealand Vine Days show take place at our premiere winery Villa Maria. Internationally, Vine Days is renowned for its electric festival atmosphere, delectable gourmet food and signature wines, and epic line-up that features some of the biggest hitmakers of contemporary RNB.

Leading the charge for Vine Days 2019 is English superstar Craig David, accompanied by his full live band. English-Canadian girl group All Saints will make their New Zealand debut, along with New Zealand RNB royalty Aaradhna and a rare appearance by local jazz and funk infused supergroup Opensouls.

UK garage veteran Craig David will return to New Zealand this summer equipped with a full live band. Bringing smooth tunes ‘Walking Away’, ‘7 Days’ and ‘Fill Me In’to life on the Vine Days stage, Craig David will prove why he’s ‘Slicker Than Your Average’.

With endless glossy jams up his sleeve, including tunes from recent lively release The Time Is Now (out now through Insanity Records Limited), Craig David’s contagious energy will keep crowds dancing until the sun sets. With tracks ‘GOT IT GOOD (ft. KAYTRANADA)’, ‘I Know You (ft. Bastille)’ and certified banger ‘What’s Your Flava’, it’s THE concert you don’t want to miss.

OG girl group All Saints will play their first ever show in New Zealand in January– and it’s going to be epic! Smooth harmonies on essential NZ Top 10 singles ‘Never Ever’, ‘Under The Bridge’ and ‘Bootie Call’ will have Vine Days grooving like it’s the ‘90s. Don’t miss the chance to see soulful, party-ready anthems ‘Pure Shores’ and ‘I Know Where It’s At’ live on stage, get your squad together now!

With her most recent album Brown Girl rocketing to the coveted #1 spot on the NZ Top 40, local RNB queen Aaradhna needs little introduction. After featuring on chart topping platinum certified single ‘Getting Stronger’ by Adeaze and ‘They Don’t Know’ (gold certified) by Savage, Aaradhna then released her absolute tune of a debut single ‘Down Time’ in 2006. Since then she has carved her path with all four of her solo albums cracking the NZ Top 20.

Featuring a collective of New Zealand’s finest musicians including the sublime vocals of Tyra Hammond, Opensouls are reforming for this special show this summer. With tunes from their two albums Kalediscope and Top 10 album Standing In The Rain, Opensouls promise to ‘Turn It Up’ for Vine Days. Make sure you get in early to catch this Kiwi supergroup in a rare live performance.

Get your posse together ASAP, Vine Days is the event you don’t want to miss out on! With tickets starting at $99.90 and pass bass options available, get in quick to secure your spot for a lush day out. Tickets go on sale Monday 5 November, put it in the diary!

Villa Maria Winery is an all-ages venue, and as a special offer to families, one child under 12 is welcome free per a ticketed adult in the silver section.
