Tea and Cake for Kiwi

Published: Wed 24 Oct 2018 10:58 AM
This Friday the Great Kiwi Morning Tea returns.
The national event is Kiwis for kiwi’s fundraising initiative that supports kiwi conservation projects across the country. Just $100 is enough to save one kiwi by controlling predators across its habitat for an entire year.
Everyone can do their bit to help by hosting a morning tea with family, friends, colleagues and neighbours with guests making a donation.
For those people who don’t have time to bake, Bakers Delight is donating $2.00 to Kiwis for kiwi from every 4 pack of scones sold this Friday, nationwide.
While the official day is Friday 26th October, you can hold your event any time during Save Kiwi Month. For more information visit www.kiwisforkiwi.org
