Taupo Summer Concert Sells Out

Published: Mon 15 Oct 2018 09:20 AM
The Summer Concert Tour is again proving to be New Zealand’s favourite annual concert experience, with the Taupo Summer Concert, (one of three shows in next year’s tour), announcing a sell-out of all 15,000 tickets.
Show organisers, Greenstone Entertainment, pride themselves on their consistent approach of bringing to New Zealand artists who kiwi’s love to sing along and dance to. Next year’s line-up is no exception and will feature SUPERTRAMP’S Roger Hodgson (with his full band), James Reyne and Mark Seymour formerly of AUSTRALIAN CRAWL and HUNTERS & COLLECTORS (along with their band), and the unmistakable voice of Toni Childs, who will be rocking concert goers in Queenstown, Taupo and Whitianga in late January.
On the back of the 2018 tour which was also a sell-out and saw audiences of 48,000 across the three shows, tickets are also in high demand for the Queenstown and Whitianga concerts. Greenstone Entertainment CEO, Amanda Calvert, comments “. The Taupo Summer Concert sell out shows our fans love not just the amazing line up of acts we strive to deliver each year, but also the unique afternoon atmosphere and idyllic summer holiday locations around the country where we’re able to hold the concerts. We want to thank everyone for their ongoing support and encourage those still needing tickets for the Queenstown or Whitianga show to secure them before they too sell out.”
Tickets for the Whitianga Summer Concert and Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert - Queenstown can be purchased through www.greenstoneentertainment.co.nz or www.ticketek.co.nz for $109 plus booking fee.
