Story and Music Show with Gareth Edwards Wellington 28th October
‘GLAD TO BE MAD’ WITH GARETH EDWARDS AS PART OF HIS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS HUMOUR TOUR
THE SCRUFFY BUNNY IMPROV THEATRE, THE COURTYARD
HOSTED BY STORY & LAUGHTER, MONTHLY STORYTELLING SHOW
Last Sunday of the month, The Scruffy Bunny Improv Theatre, The Courtyard, 100 Courtenay Place, 28th October, 2pm.
Entertainer, writer and healer with a psychology background, Gareth Edwards will be in Wellington for one show only with ‘Glad To Be Mad’, as he completes his tour of the North Island for Mental Health Awareness and a great deal of fun. There will also be a short reading from his very timely book ‘The Procrastinator’s Guide To Killing Yourself’ and a book signing after the show.
Gareth is a passionate advocate for all that makes us feel good about ourselves “you’ll remember that life is not too bad, and neither are you.”
Gareth Edwards Nelson Fringe Show ‘Mad Love’ won Best of Fringe and Best Solo Show awards.
Gareth says of this unique show “Let's come together to balance some of life’s toughness with a little hope, connection and joy.
Most of my songs have (100% optional) ’joining in’ bits if you like that kind of thing. And I’ll share some stories and a couple of things I’ve found that can help us feel a bit more ok about ourselves.
It’s what I imagine we used to do round the campfire most nights after a hard week hunting and gathering. Before smart phones, social media and TV-on-demand fulfilled our soul’s deepest desires.”
"You’ll enjoy his take on life, love and happiness. You probably haven't heard anything like this in a while." Graham Reid | Elsewhere Magazine
