Finalists for the Overall Athlete of the Year Award, sponsored by the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ, will be the respective winners of each sports category.

Awards will also be presented to the 2018 Masters Ski Racing Champions, Alison Duder (Arrowtown) and Geoff Hunt (Queenstown).

The Snow Sports NZ Annual Awards Night will be held on Saturday 6 October at the Lake Wanaka Centre from 7 -10pm. The awards encompass a 12-month timeframe which includes the 2017/2018 Northern Hemisphere season and the 2018 Southern Hemisphere season.

Winners will be presented with their awards and Black Fern Portia Woodman will be the guest speaker. Portia will share with us her journey to becoming one of NZ's most successful athletes.She is an Olympic silver medallist, Commonwealth Games gold medallist and the top try scorer in World Series history. Portia’s career highlights so far also include being named 2015 World Rugby Women's Seven's player of the year and World Rugby Women's Player of the Year in 2017.
