Today marks the start of Dom Harvey’s 5 Marathons in 5 Days fundraiser. Dom of The Edge Breakfast has taken upon this monstrous challenge as a way to raise funds and awareness for three-year-old Ka'iulani Forbes. Ka'iulani suffers from a rare cancer called Neuroblastoma and is currently seeking expensive treatment in Barcelona. Every day this week, Dom will aim to run a gruelling 42 kilometres and he encourages people to come out and support him along the way. This morning, Edge listener Chris, who has an ill daughter, compassionately pledged $10,000 to the cause, stating he will donate $2,000 for every marathon Dom completes. This incredible act of generosity touched the Breakfast team and undoubtedly everyone listening in. To find out more about Dom’s challenge and the fundraiser, click here.
