Thai Night offers ‘amazing’ prize

Alexandra Park

Tuesday, 7 August 2018

Alexandra Park’s Thai Night is back with the popular evening reaching new heights in 2018.

To be held on Friday 14 September, Thai Airways is the official partner for the event with an amazing prize up for grabs on the night.

“Any ticketholder who attends ‘Thai Night At The Races’ has a great chance to win two return tickets to Thailand thanks to Thai Airways which will be drawn and announced there and then,” says Alexandra Park Sales & Events Coordinator, Roxanne Visser.

She says Alexandra Park is also lining up some stunning traditional Thai entertainment with the evening starting from 5.30pm in the Tasman Room.

Thai Night is being promoted as a chance for people to enjoy a taste of Thailand. It will include an incredible all-you-can-eat Thai themed buffet filled to the brim with traditional favourites such as Crispy Fried Fish, Pork and Ginger Curry, Thai-Style Coconut Seafood Chowder and much more.

Thai Night packages start from just $65 per person for the premium buffet only. Tickets are also available for the premium all-drinks-included package priced at $115 per person.

To secure tickets phone (09) 631-1165, email dining@alexandrapark.co.nz

General admission into Alexandra Park as well as car-parking and race books remain free on Friday night.

Alexandra Park Sales & Marketing Manager Joel Reichardt says the Thai Airways partnership extends well beyond Thai Night on 14 September.

“We’re thrilled that Thai Airways has also committed to be an ongoing sponsor of Alexandra Park with its ‘Smooth As Silk’ branding now proudly trackside.”

Thai Airways Sales Manager Nigel Taylor says the airline is delighted to partner with Alexandra Park.

“Our daily direct flights from Auckland to Bangkok on our Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner are proving very popular since launching late last year. Thai Airways’ presence in New Zealand continues to grow. Securing great visibility at Auckland’s premier harness racing venue only adds to that,” says Mr Taylor.
