The Block NZ Launches with Timeslot Win,
NZ’s Number One Drama Westside* Returns Tonight
The all new seventh season of The Block NZ kicked off last night on Three with a stellar performance, winning its timeslot in the commercially important 25-54 demographic. Last night’s premiere hit a 23.7% audience share and 7.9 rating point amongst 25-54s as four new teams were sent straight to work in Hobsonville Point. The Block NZ screens Sunday to Wednesday nights on Three, and continues tonight with the teams tackling their guest bedrooms.
And tonight, get ready to welcome back everyone's favourite wayward Westies, with the highly anticipated return of New Zealand’s number one drama Westside*. Last year, Westside* averaged a 23.2% share and 7.8 rating across the series in the 25-54 demographic. Tonight’s unmissable season premiere kicks off with an incarcerated Wolf and a pregnant Cheryl.
Continuing to tug at the heart-strings, Lost & Found* secured a timeslot win on Monday night with a 22.9% share 5.4 rating amongst 25-54s, followed by chilling doco-series Killer Woman with Piers Morgan, which hit a 23.0% share and 4.2 rating. Friday night also had timeslot wins from The Best of The Graham Norton Show (22.1% share, 5.7 rating) and stand-out local comedy 7 Days* (23.8% share, 5.6 rating).
Other wins for the week include:
Tuesday: SVU (17.9% share, 3.9 rating),
Wednesday: Hawaii Five-O (15.0% share, 2.1 rating)
Thursday: X-Men: First Class (20.6% share, 4.3 rating)
The AM Show continues its On Tour road trip this week, heading to Napier and finishing in Rotorua this Friday. Supported by Chorus, Duncan, Amanda, Mark and The AM Show crew have braved the cold and broadcast the show live each morning, showcasing the people, places and stories of each region alongside the news of the day.
