Explosive Moana with Orchestra Wellington Will Get the Kids Buzzing
Songs of Moana with Orchestra Wellington is coming to the capital on Saturday with two performances.
Orchestra Wellington will be joined by acclaimed South Pacific ensemble Te Vaka to perform 'We Know The Way' and 'How Far I’ll Go’ from Disney’s hit movie Moana.
Moana songwriter, Opetaia Foa’i is leading his band, Te Vaka in two concerts at 2:00pm and 5:00pm on Saturday at the Michael Fowler Centre.
An explosive show alongside the orchestra, filled with singing, dancing and log drumming will get the kids buzzing.
Touring the country, Foa’i and Te Vaka played a sell-out Moana concert with the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra at the Dunedin Town Hall yesterday to rave reviews.
