The Block NZ Teams And Location Revealed
Three started the week with a win on Monday night in the commercially important 25-54 demographic, hitting a 26.9% share for the evening. Dancing With The Stars NZ kicked off a series of timeslot wins for the night recording a 26.5% audience share and 8.1 rating point as we farewelled ‘Rockin’ Rog’ from the competition. Lost & Found* followed with a timeslot win that reached a mammoth 31.6% share and 8.3 rating, and Serial Killer with Piers Morgan also won its timeslot with a 25.5% share and 4.4 rating amongst 25-54s.
Three also won the night on Friday, hitting a 26.8% share in the key 25-54 demo with The Graham Norton Show reaching a 32.2% share and 9.5 rating as the leading ladies of Ocean’s 8joined Graham on the couch. Local favourite 7 Days* continued the winning formula with a 31.3% share and 8.5 rating, followed by the premiere of The Spinoff TV*, winning its timeslot with a 20.7% share and 4.2 rating (25-54).
Other wins for the week include:
Tuesday: SVU (21.3% share, 3.6 rating),
Wednesday: Buying Blind (19.1% share, 5.7 rating),
Sunday: Bridget Jones’s Baby (21.1% share, 4.4 rating)
Yesterday, Three revealed the teams for the highly anticipated new season of The Block NZ. New Zealand’s highest-rating series returns on July 8th with another year of renos, drama and challenges in the new location of Hobsonville Point. On radio, Mark Sainsbury (RadioLIVE) has launched a petition campaigning the government to create an advocate for the elderly, in response to stories of shocking treatment and neglect of our elders. Mark is determined to take action and in six days the petition has gathered more than 2,600 signatures.
Jono and Ben are the latest Edge hosts to be taken to a secret location as part of The Edge Safe House, fed by Burger King. Two more listeners have the opportunity to crack their location and win $5,000 each, either by knocking on The Edge Safe House front door and asking “Is this The Edge Safe House?”, or by pin dropping their guess on the Safe House map.
