Sheppard Release Second Album - Watching the Sky
After their ode to Australia ‘Coming Home’, Brisbane sibling super-group Sheppard are keeping with the theme as their new track ‘Hometown’ celebrates today’s global launch of their album ‘Watching The Sky’. Sheppard have silenced the nay-sayers, throwing off the shackles of their global smash ‘Geronimo’, with two radio chart-topping hits in the last twelve months with gold-selling ‘Keep Me Crazy’ and platinum-selling ‘Coming Home’.
Refusing to be defined by either their success or their detractors, Sheppard have steered their own ship, focusing on authenticity and delivering great pop songs to keep the world singing.
“With ‘Coming Home’ and now “Hometown”, it’s pretty clear we’ve been on the road a lot these last few years!” laughs singer George Sheppard. “The two are almost companion pieces, with ‘Coming Home’ about how much we love Australia and ‘Hometown’ a love song about how no matter where in the world you are, if you’re with the one you love then you are home.”
