In full flight, RAW COLLECTIVE is a 12-piece LIVE Hip Hop band from Wellington. As with previous singles, ‘Coins (memories)’ and ‘Waterproof Coat’, RAW COLLECTIVE is back with a new single ‘Pictures’ complete with their signature infectious groove.
RAW COLLECTIVE takes inspiration from many genres and influences and distils it into an honest, original, raucous energy that speaks to all generations and walks of life through music that sings to the soul, causes the head to nod and encourages the feet to move in a rhythmic fashion.
This year RAW COLLECTIVE has teamed up with ‘Fight Music Records’ (Sydney) for the release of their debut album ‘For the Ancients’. This 11 track album features artists from around the world and showcases numerous catchy tunes, including the single ‘Pictures’.
Every bit the performance spectacular they sound like, RAW COLLECTIVE has featured in the line-up of many festivals such as Homegrown, Coastella, Gardens Magic, Twisted Frequency, CUBADUPA, Newtown Festival.
