Variety – the Children’s Charity selected as Shares for Good recipient
Variety – the Children’s Charity is delighted to announce it has been selected as the
Shares for Good recipient charity through until 31 March 2019.
Lorraine Taylor, Variety’s chief executive officer, says the charity is over the moon to have been selected for the very first time, and encourages those with unwanted shares to get behind Variety’s cause which is to give disadvantaged Kiwi kids the childhood they deserve.
“Day in and day out we are inundated with requests from families across the country who need assistance to provide their children with basic essentials or one-off grants, and so to have this opportunity, which will directly benefit children in need, is just fantastic,” Taylor says.
“I implore and encourage anyone with unwanted shares to join us in our mission by selling these shares through Shares for Good, which will see 100% of the proceeds directed to Variety.
“Big or small, any and all funds raised help us provide vital assistance to Kiwi kids in desperate need.”
JBWere’s Craig Patrick says Shares for Good is delighted to partner with such a worthy cause providing the youth of New Zealand with the necessary support to have a childhood that should be a given for every Kiwi kid.
