Three Wins the Week
Three’s exclusive documentary Stan* debuted last night to massive ratings, making it the most-watched documentary of 2018. Stan rated an 8.6 with a 32.5% audience share in the 25-54 demographic, winning the timeslot amongst 25-54s, as well as people aged 5+ and 18-49. The one-off documentary followed international pop star Stan Walker’s battle with stomach cancer and his recovery from life-saving surgery.
Three continues to dominate in the 25-54 demographic, winning its third consecutive week. Three had a weekly average rating of 4.3 and weekly audience share of 21.4 for the week in the commercially important 25-54 demographic, winning four nights last week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.
Married At First Sight Australia had another huge week with an average rating of 7.8 and a weekly average audience share of 29.8% in the 25-54 demographic, winning its timeslot for each of the four nights it aired. This week is the dramatic final week of Married At First Sight Australia. Don’t miss tonight’s final vow renewal ceremony, Tuesday’s explosive dinner party andWednesday’s season finale as all of the participants reunite to view footage that will rock their relationships.
7 Days* continues to win its slot on Friday nights. Hosted by Jeremy Corbett, the local comedy juggernaut won its timeslot with a 5.1 rating and 21.5% audience share in the 25-54 demographic.
Last week, Jay-Jay Feeney kicked off her Jay-Watch tour as she travels around New Zealand to take 5,000 selfies with fans before she joins More FM’s Afternoons with Jason Gunn. With the support of RJ’S Licorice, Jay-Jay is travelling from Whangarei to Invercargill and everywhere in between, giving her listeners the chance to take a selfie with her and be in the draw to win $5,000.
Over the weekend, George FM hosted the first ever celebration of The Jagermeister Republic of George FM on Kawau Island. Over 100 partygoers descended on the island with Tammy Davis acting as President of the Republic, and General Lee, Dan Aux and Jay Bulletproof DJing throughout the day.
This morning, Mark Sainsbury gave away the 1967 MGB Roadster he toured New Zealand in as part of the ‘Mo On The Road’ promotion. Kerry Young from Hamilton is the lucky winner of the competition and will be driving the classic car down to New Plymouth to see his mum.
