Internationally Acclaimed Dancers Julz Tocker
And Rachel White Join Dancing with the Stars NZ
Judging Panel
Three is ecstatic to
announce that talented dancing duo Julz Tocker and Rachel
White are joining Camilla Sacre-Dallerup in the judging
line-up for Dancing With The Stars NZ 2018.
The pair are professional American Smooth dance
partners, and co-owners of JustDance studio in Los
Angeles.
Julz is excited to return to his home country
for the season! A Dancing With The Stars veteran, he
has been involved in numerous seasons of the show in both
Australia and the USA in a variety of roles including
professional dancer, choreographer, and co-host for the 2015
and 2016 Dancing With The Stars After
Show.
Julz’s other credentials include working
as a personal instructor to Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone for
their roles in La La Land in 2016, as well as the
assistant ballroom choreographer to Mandy Moore.
His CV
also boasts an impressive lead role in the 2017 Dirty
Dancing USA Broadway tour, and former NZ Latin Champion,
Australian Latin and Ballroom Champion and World Latin
American Semi Finalist titles in 2012.
“After
leaving New Zealand 14 years ago to follow my dreams in
dance and entertainment, I'm honored and humbled to be asked
to return to my home and be a judge on Dancing With The
Stars NZ!” says Julz.
Rachel White is a
recognisable face from her time on Dancing With The
Stars in New Zealand as Josh Kronfeld’s dance partner
in 2009, where the duo placed third.
Rachel is a
two-time NZ Professional Latin Champion, and is currently
ranked #5 Top Female Dance Teacher in the USA, by the
Dancesport World Series. She is based in Los Angeles and is
married to a Kiwi.
“My last experience with
Dancing With The Stars NZ was totally unforgettable,
I fell in love with the country and the people. Even in
America I have my own little piece of New Zealand as I have
married a Kiwi,” says Rachel.
“I’m thrilled to
be able to share my enormous passion for dance and return to
Dancing With The Stars!”
The all-new
Dancing With The Stars NZ judging panel is now
complete. Watch this space for updates on who will join
Gilda Kirkpatrick and David Seymour on the dance floor over
the coming weeks.
