Three Wins the Week, Married at First Sight Australia Remains Highest Rating Reality Drama of 2018

Three has won the week for the second week in a row. Last week, Three was the most-watched channel amongst 25-54s with an average weekly audience share of 21.6%, winning Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights.

Married At First Sight Australia recorded a 31.9% audience share in the key 25-54 demographic on Sunday, cementing its status as the highest rating reality drama of 2018 in this demographic. Last week, Married At First Sight Australia had a weekly average rating of 8.0 and a weekly average audience share of 28.9% amongst 25-54s, winning each of the four nights it screened on Three.

Friday nights are continuing to rate well. Three won the night with The Graham Norton Show and 7 Days* both winning their timeslots. The Graham Norton Show had a 6.2 rating with 26% audience share amongst 25-54s, followed by 7 Days* which rated a 6.7 with 24.6% audience share in the same demographic.

It was also a strong week for Newshub with Newshub Nation* winning its timeslot in the key 25-54 demographic (10.6% audience share). Newshub Live at 4pm won its timeslot from Monday to Friday last week with an average weekly audience share of 15%.

Kiwi audiences are heading to Three for their movie fix. Hercules, starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, won its timeslot with a 4.5 rating and 22.1% share of audience in the 25-54 demographic. This week’s Thursday Action Movie is R.I.P.D starring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds.
