Married at First Sight Australia Hits Audience Share High

The AM Show continues to be a hit with audiences, winning the week for the second week in a row with an average weekly rating of 1.8 and audience share of 32.4% amongst 25-54s. Duncan, Mark and Amanda won their timeslot for ratings on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday amongst 25-54s, and is the highest rating breakfast news programme in that demographic for 2018.

Married At First Sight Australia continues to be the number one multi-night reality drama for New Zealanders aged 25-54. This week, the show achieved an average rating of 8.0 and audience share of 27.1%, winning its timeslot for ratings each of the four nights it aired in the 25-54 demographic. Last night’s episode was a series high for audience share as viewers said goodbye to Davina and Ryan, rating a 9.1 with a 33% audience share amongst 25-54s.

New drama 9-1-1 is a hit with viewers, winning its timeslot on Monday night with a 5.7 rating and 22.5% audience share. Thursday Action Movies continue to rate well, with Blade: Trinity achieving a 3.5 rating with an audience share of 18.9%, winning its timeslot in the 25-54 demographic. Sunday’s Blockbuster The Huntsman: Winter’s War also won its timeslot with a 4.2 rating and 19.5% audience share amongst 25-54s.

Three is the best place to be on Friday nights, with The Graham Norton Show and local comedy juggernaut 7 Days* both winning their timeslots. The Graham Norton Show featured Hollywood stars Margot Robbie and Alicia Vikander, rating a 6.7 with a 22.7 audience share amongst 25-54s, while 7 Days* rated a 4.4 with a 15.5% audience share in the same demographic.

Newshub Nation* has returned to ratings success, achieving a 9.9% audience share amongst 25-54s and winning its timeslot. Newshub Nation host Lisa Owen begins co-hosting RadioLIVE Drive today alongside Ryan Bridge, from 3-6pm.

RadioLIVE’s Mark Sainsbury continues with his ‘The Mo on the Road’ tour. This week, Sainso hits Hamilton, Tauranga and Napier in his 1967 MGB Roadster, before heading to Queenstown and Wanaka on Thursday and Friday. Each morning Mark is giving his listeners a chance to win the Roadster and other prizes.
