Married At First Sight Australia is the highest rating multi-night reality drama of 2018

Married At First Sight Australia is the highest rating multi-night reality drama of 2018 amongst 25-54s, with an average year-to-date rating of 7.0 and 23.3% audience share. The show’s success continues on ThreeNow, as the number of streams for this season have grown by 120% versus last year. Last week, Married At First Sight Australia won its timeslot in the 25-54 demographic each night it was on-air with an average weekly rating of 6.5 and 22.7% share of audience. Sunday’s episode was the highest performing of the week, achieving an 9.2 rating and 28% audience share in its target demographic.

The AM Show remains the top morning news programme for people aged 25-54, winning the week with an average audience share of 29.3%. Duncan, Mark and Amanda won their timeslot amongst 25-54s on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.

Movies continue to perform well on Three, with Thursday’s Action Movie The Bourne Legacy winning its timeslot in the 25-54 demographic with a 5.0 rating and 24.2% audience share, followed by Sunday’s Blockbuster Snow White And The Huntsman also winning its timeslot with a 4.4 rating and 13.8% audience share in the same demographic. This Sunday, the battle of good versus evil continues with the premiere of The Huntsman: Winter’s War starring Chris Hemsworth and Jessica Chastain.

Three’s Friday night line-up is the home of comedy with The Graham Norton Show, 7 Days*, and Fail Army all winning their timeslots in the 25-54 demographic. Local comedy 7 Days* continues to be a firm favourite for audiences, rating a 6.5 with a 24.4% audience share amongst 25-54s.

The Edge are all over O-Week, hosting events around New Zealand’s biggest cities as students head to university. The festivities started with a Foam Party at The Outback Inn in Hamilton on Monday 19th February, while in Christchurch, The Edge gave away 200 cheeseburgers to hungover students on Sunday 18th February. Marty and Steph broadcast the Fresh 40 LIVE from a flat on Dunedin’s infamous Hyde Street last Friday, while Wellington students still have the chance to join Dom, Meg and Randell for dinner as BYO Week kicks off in the capital this Friday.

Sainso is touring New Zealand in a 1967 MGB Roadster, broadcasting Morning Talk with Mark Sainsbury along the way. Starting with Whangarei and Albany and heading down the country, each morning Mark will give his listeners a chance to win the Roadster.
