Cause Film festival Finalists Announced
Cause Film Festival has just announced the ten finalists of this year’s unique and inspiring filmmaking competition. Charities, filmmakers and the general public were invited to enter films from all over the world and the top ten films will be screened as part of a Film Festival designed to celebrate and raise awareness for worthy causes.
The Festival provides a unique platform for filmmakers, charitable organisations, or anyone who is passionate about a cause, to share their message through the art of film and entertainment. One of the main incentives is that all profits go to the charity or cause represented by the winning film. There will be awards and prizes from industry sponsors for Best Film, two runner ups, Best Actor, and many more. The winning films have been judged by industry experts and is now opening up to public voting.
The finalists are:

Championing the festival is Festival Director Suki Foster, “This year’s entries were the highest standard we’ve ever had and judging was incredibly difficult. Our judges this year are all very successful in their own expertise within the film industry and they all acknowledged the extremely high standard of filmmaking and the obvious passion of the filmmakers.”
Finalists are now able to raise their overall score through public voting which will count as a percentage towards the overall score. The purpose of the public voting is to ensure that filmmakers are able to spread their awareness messages far and wide. Voting can be done through before 6 March www.causefilmfestival.org/2018films
The fun-filled and glamorous Festival Awards Night on 8th March 2018 at Riverside Theatre in Parramatta provides the public a showcase of the films and the opportunity to learn about the force of good in the world as the awards are handed out. There will be film related speakers and an opportunity to meet the filmmakers after the awards ceremony.
