Quarter and semi-finals to be played on Friday
Due to rain forcing an abandonment of Thursdays play, both quarter and semi-finals will now be played on Friday. All three match courts will be used at the ASB Tennis Arena with play scheduled to commence at 10am.
Friday ticket holders will be able to enter from 9am with ground passes providing access to courts two and four (Grandstand).
“The rain has hampered us all day and it is disappointing to have had to cancel two sessions today. We feel for those fans who didn’t get to see tennis today” said Tournament Director Karl Budge.
The ASB Classic’s rain refund policy has been enacted. Ticket purchases should visit the ASB Classic website for further information.
