Sunshine And Celebrations with 2manydjs, Giggs, Baauer And More Round Off Day Two of Rhythm And Vines 2017
Fresh from an epic first night of revelry amongst the vines, it was time for dress up and celebration to round out a spectacular second night of the 15th Anniversary Rhythm and Vines Festival.
With rain clearing out early morning, a warm summer's day developed, with the festival site quickly drying out as festival goers donned sun hats and glasses to enjoy the afternoons line up across all the stages. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was even spotted enjoying the Vintage Club VIP space.
Australian dance electric duo Client Liaison delivered a multi-sensory experience to headline the first international act of the day on the Vines Stage. Fresh from over 30 hours of flying around the world to be in Gisborne, viral superstar and crowd favorite Big Shaq aka Michael Dapaah then took to the stage to play his viral hit ‘Mans not Hot’. The capacity crowd erupted as he played the hit, whipping the crowd up with his trademark banter.
The much talked about Giggs was to follow leaving audiences in no doubt to why he deserves the worldwide buzz he has generated. Baauer and 2manyDJs then took to the Vines Stage to wrap up the night with audiences lapping up their deep house beats and incredible on stage visuals. Across at the Rhythm Supertop, festival favorites Cut Snake wowed audiences with their epic set and world class banter.
Tomorrows final day of the festival will see P Money, Savage and David Dallas take the stage before festival favorites Netsky and Wilkinson take charge to see in the New Year.
“The 30th is always the best night, the team have done an excellent job on providing a fun, safe environment to enjoy world class talent.” Says festival founder Hamish Pinkham. “Audiences are having a brilliant time and I am excited to see out 2017 and our 15th year with them tomorrow night.”
