You know its nearly Christmas time when the Farmers Santa Parade rolls into town with a FREE line-up of some of the biggest stars in family entertainment. On Sunday November 26, kids are in for a massive treat when Thomas the Tank Engine, My Little Pony, The Madagascar Penguins, Peter Rabbit, Spot the Dog, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Buzzy Bee, Cinderella, Goldilocks & the Three Bears and Where’s Wally join the New Zealand’s biggest Christmas parade which boasts an incredible 4000 plus participants.
The stars keep rolling into the afternoon as international superstar Peppa Pig takes to the mainstage for Santa’s Party in Aotea Square. With a fantastic schedule of awesome performers running from 2.30pm – 5.30pm there will also be oodles of fun to be had on the ground, as the good folk at Farmers have organised face painters, balloon twisters and meet and greets with the loveable Peppa Pig. There’s also a rumour that the biggest star of all - Santa will make an appearance to get the party into full swing.
With so much fantastic entertainment on offer families are expected to come from all over the Auckland region to get a taste of festive magic. To keep everyone safe parade organisers have once again employed the use of a blue honour line. The New Zealand Police ask that all spectators stay behind the line while watching the Parade.
