The AM Show Wins Two Mornings Last Week,
Married at First Sight Season Finale Tonight
On Monday morning, The AM Show won its timeslot across all four demographics for the second week in a row with a rating of 1.6 and 25.9% audience share. This was backed by a second win for the show on Friday morning across all four demographics with a rating of 1.8 and 31% audience share.
Newshub Live at 6pm also won its timeslot on Wednesday evening with a rating of 7.3 and 34.4% audience share in the key 25-54 demographic, winnings its timeslot across all four demographics.
Married at First Sight NZ continues tonight with the season finale – the reunion episode which sees the participants come together for the final time. The show is now averaging a rating of 8.2 and 24.8% audience share for the season-to-date in the 25-54 demographic.
Tuesday evening saw Grand Designs NZ* (25-54) and Lost & Found* (25-54, 18-39, 18-49) also win their respective timeslots.

Thursday: I, Robot (25-54, 18-49)
Friday: The Graham Norton Show (25-54, HHS with kids 0-14), 7 Days (25-54, 18-49, HHS with kids 0-14)
The New Zealand Television awards are taking place at the end of the month and MediaWorks has a huge 24 nominations across 13 categories including best news coverage, best comedy, best drama series, best current affairs programme, best factual series and three of our people are up for best presenter: news and current affairs. And finally, it’s been a great month of award wins with a number of MediaWorks’ employees being recognised in the industry. Newshub journalist Mitchell Alexander, the creator of the Ticked Off election series, is the winner of the Bill Toft Awards 2017. Melody Thomas, podcast producer, and Andy Wright, More FM workday announcer, were both highly commended entrants as well. Our creative teams have also been recognised at the prestigious Promax Awards where they took home gold for best news and current affairs promotion (The Project), silver for best reality promotion (The Block) and silver for best entertainment brand of the year (Three).
