Bic Runga Announces Guests for Auckland & Wellington Dates
Bic's talking to you! And she wants you to know that she is super excited to announce that Shayne Carter will be joining her for both Auckland and Wellington concerts, 2 & 3 November, respectively!
Shayne hopped up onto the stage a few times in Christchurch, and the result was magic. We couldn't continue without inviting him to perform at Bic's Auckland and Wellington shows, as well. Aaradhna, Estere and Shayne Carter; a stellar band; Miss Crabb merch; and the amazing Bic Runga, herself.
Multi-award winning Aaradhna is an amazing force, a heralded songwriter, a soulful voice that delivers a gorgeous lyrical ride. She is graciously pushing the boundaries of time and space to start her own headline tour of Australia the day after she sings a duet with Bic. She will follow her Australian tour with an appearance in Rarotonga for one special date! Aaradhna will appear with Bic at the Civic Theatre on Thursday, 2nd November.
Shayne Carter!!
Having just completed his music directorship of this year's APRA Awards, Shayne will flying up from Aramoana to play guitar and guest appear on some backing vocals for Bic at The Civic and The Opera House. He's also been busy eating cheese balls, spotting trains, and performing with the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, so we're excited he's slotted these shows in!
The Empress of Electric Blue Witch Hop will sing a duet with Bic at Wellington's Opera House on Friday, 3rd November. Her recently released album, Her My Design, is a colourful patchwork of thoughts, feelings and stories, featuring an awesome panorama of colourful characters. The six track offering is part one in a prolific two-part album My Design, On Others' Lives, due for release in March 2018
