Southern Institute of Technology Epic Jam Concert Massive Success
Last Thursday night, Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) students hosted the annual Epic Jam Concert. Music students comprised the lineup, along with special guest LEFT or RIGHT. The acts from SIT included Stephen Kilgour, Beka Ellen, Gary Waddick, Chartreuse & Black, The Forgotten Youth and Sphuntka.
The doors opened at 7pm, with the performances kicking off at 7.30pm. Beka Ellen played first and was quickly followed by Gary Waddick with his cover of Dazig’s song Thirteen, a song that brought cheers from the crowd. The other acts were also well received, each of them playing a wide range of music that had the crowd clapping along throughout the night.
Guests LEFT or RIGHT played their much anticipated set at 9pm and it did not disappoint. No empty seats meant it was a massive success for both the artists and Lifeline NZ who will receive all the money raised by the $5 entry fee.
Special thanks for doing an amazing job to the SIT students who comprised the sound and lighting crew. Thanks also to all the artists involved including special guest LEFT or RIGHT.
