New Zealand Pink Carpet Premiere to Celebrate My Little Pony on the Big Screen for the First Time in an All-New Movie

To celebrate the New Zealand release of My Little Pony: The Movie in cinemas on November 2, a magical Pink Carpet Premiere will be hosted at HOYTS Sylvia Park on Saturday, 28th October.

My Little Pony: The Movie brings the Mane Six to the big screen for their most exciting and spectacular adventure yet! When the menacing Storm King invades Canterlot with plans to steal the magic from the ponies, the very future of Equestria is at stake. In never before seen adventures, the ponies will embark on an action packed heroic journey that takes them beyond the borders of their homes for the first time ever in search for help across magical mountains, undersea worlds, and even a swashbuckling flying pirate ship.

The film has an all-star voice cast including Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Zoe Saldana. It also features an incredible soundtrack which includes “Off To See The World” by Lukas Graham and “Rainbow” by Sia.

At the family friendly event Pink Carpet attendees will be treated to a memorable, Ponyville-themed Garden Party where guests will experience fanciful face painting, Pony-inspired hairdos, sparkly temporary tattoos and more, before entering the theatre to be among the first to see My Little Pony: The Movie.

New Hasbro toys inspired by the movie let children create the magical world of My Little Pony: The Movie at home. The addition of the new Sea Ponies and Playsets let children explore and play in the mountains and undersea worlds featured in the movie. Pony figures have beautiful mermaid-like tails with cutie marks on their back fin, colourful hair for styling and accessories for dress up and play.
