'Sanctuary' - Sonically & Visually Exploring Mental Health

Commercial Music Students Announce “Sanctuary” - Sonically And Visually Exploring Mental Health

Commercial Music Students are proud to present ‘Sanctuary’; a performance taking place during ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’, featuring original music and light projections, to encourage discussion, open-mindedness and awareness around Mental Health.

Sanctuary’ will be a relaxing evening of sonic and visual stimulation accompanied by tea and coffee generously donated by Rich Coffee Roasters.

All proceeds will go toward the New Zealand Music Foundation, an organisation providing emergency, around the clock assistance to people involved in the New Zealand music industry who are experiencing illness, distress and hardship.

"As a young person aiming to work in the music industry, I believe that it’s important to invest in the wellbeing of our community by supporting this cause.” - Deanne Krieg // Pacific Heights and WHIM

“I believe that awareness, communication and support around mental wellness is paramount for young people within the music industry. I wholeheartedly support a gig and concept such as this that celebrates our future in music and the people involved with it. “ Devin Abrams // Shapeshifter and Pacific Heights
