Wellington Home & Garden Show Joins Forces with Big Names
Wellington’s largest and most successful Home and Garden show has joined forces with some big names in anticipation of
its opening at the Westpac Stadium on Friday 22 September. Television and radio personality, Resident Builder Peter
Wolfkamp, will provide visitors with celebrity expertise on the show Sunday; while the Phoenix will play a pre-season
game on the venue pitch on the show Saturday. Show organisers believe that the combination will satisfy Kiwis’ passion
for both home improvement and sport, providing an ideal family day out.
Show director, Josh Shanley, said “We are very excited to have Resident Builder Peter Wolfkamp as a guest speaker. He
will be running a free question and answer session on building and renovating in the ‘Ask an Expert’ area at 12.30 pm on
the Sunday. There will be more industry professionals discussing other high-interest topics over the three days, so
visitors will have the chance to quiz them about their home improvement projects. We’re looking forward to inspiring
home enthusiasts, many of whom will be Nix fans and really encourage people to bring along their plans, photos and ideas
and to make the most of all the on-site expertise.”

new home builders, renovators and much more. Biome Landscapes is creating a contemporary outdoor entertainment area,
specifically suited to Wellington conditions. We’ve got the indoors covered too, with the Newstalk ZB & Resene ‘Transform Your Space’ competition. It’s attracted a diverse range of home decor experts, so there is sure to be
a room makeover that appeals to everyone. There will also be an exciting collection of sculptors, including Brett Keno,
who carves in stone & by commission only, for clients all over New Zealand. “
