University of Auckland’s School of Music Announces Opera Scenes
Always a popular event, Opera Scenes makes a rapturous return this year with a programme comprising portrayals of Maurice Ravel's fantastical fairy tale, L’enfant et les sortilèges, and Samuel Barber's micro-opera A Hand of Bridge.
These operatic miniatures are brilliant, diverting pieces, perfect for both opera amateurs and aspirants alike, providing a vocal feast of performances from the School of Music's talented voice students, offering a glimpse into the future of New Zealand opera through the Wallace Opera Training Programme.
With tickets certain to fly off the shelf, we strongly recommend you book now to secure your seat at one of the year's musical highlights!
We look forward to welcoming you!
This event is part of the School of Music Festival.
