Ubu and his friends, Hamlet, Ophelia and the Ghost, invite you to a pre-election party in The Gym! Bill, Jacinda and Paula may drop by. Leonard Cohen, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Beach Boys, Neil Young, The Who, Roxy Music, PJ Harvey and Roy Montgomery will provide musical commentary throughout the evening.

Ubu Nights are quite unlike anything else - anywhere! Combining theatre, music, film and hospitality, audiences become part of an ever changing, ever exhilarating series of sensory environments where the unexpected is to be expected. Proudly supported by The Arts Centre - Christchurch and Christchurch City Council’s Creative Communities Free Theatre together with its hospitality partner The Rolling Om collaborates with a diversity of artists to create spectacular experiences. Ubu's Bar is stocked with the finest from Black Estate Wines and Cassels & Sons with an Ubu Special reflecting the experience of the night.
