I'm going to keep this very brief, as we're at full froth due to The Others Way. Scroll down for some amazing new releases, pre-order and discounts. Over the past month we've been counting the number of sleeps until The Others Way festival. We're finally here, tonight's the night, and we can't be happier.
Officially the music starts at 7.45PM, but we've jumped the gun somewhat! Our friends at Grow Room will be DJing from 6PM next door at Def. 95bFM are broadcasting all day from our pop up shop in St Kevins Arcade (with live sets from Earth Tongue at 4:30 and Hopetoun Brown just after6PM). Make sure to check out these the business on Karangahape Road who are all doing deals for punters with wristbands too!

SNEAKY FEELINGS - Progress Junction
Who would have though it? Not only are Sneaky Feelings playing live again but they've recorded an album of new material especially for our taringas! It's there first recorded material in a couple of decades and the wait was well worth it. The album is called Progress Junction and features the band doing what the do best, but with a few zesty extras (check out the snippets of audio from New Zealand radio archives). The Sneakys describe the record as if 'voices from the past started talking to the present'. Grab yourself a CD now!
REB FOUNTAIN - Little Arrows
Having honed her chops in The Eastern, Folk / Americana stalwart Reb Fountain returns withLittle Arrows. It's an album that shows of her true skill of pairing song telling to music.

Herriot Row is the new musical project of Simon Comber.
RNZ's Nick Bollinger describes this as the record as a 'perfect piece of subverted pop'.

It seems that John Dwyer can't help but continuously tweak his musical projects. His most recent change involves his band name to Oh Sees (formerly Thee Oh Sees), and their new record Orc cracks and thunders with the same garage DIY spirit we've grown to love.
