FRIDAY 1 SEPTEMBER
Serving up showstoppers from every designer on the NZFW 2017 schedule, the Resene Designer Runway show is a high-energy
and over 30-minutes long fashion feast for the senses. Providing a spectacular overview of the best of New Zealand
fashion, this is a not-to-be-missed chance to preview both in-season pieces and forward season collections to come.
The style savants of WORLD return to open NZ Fashion Weekend with the pomp and ceremony it deserves. Putting on a show
worthy of their 28th year leading the non-conformist charge in the industry, the extravagant, theatrical showcase of
their upcoming SS 2018 collection is destined to wow and sure to go down in fashion history.
SATURDAY 2 SEPTEMBER
Fashion Quarterly and Miss FQ, in association with Newmarket and Goodness, bring you a selection of shoppable, in-season
designer pieces curated by the style masterminds behind the two prestigious titles. Destined to be a playful
presentation, the sophisticated showcase is a must for savvy shoppers of all ages seeking inspiration for what to wear
wherever life takes them.
This year KNUEFERMANN will present an exciting new collection of the ultimate street must haves, through to beautiful
summer day and party wear. Get ready for colour, prints and dreamy silhouettes! The signature sexy styling TK is known
for is making its comeback on the catwalk this year and will present a ready-to-wear show that will leave you wanting to
toss out your old wardrobe and start afresh.
Boasting show-stopping wedding trends for the bohemian bride all the way to the contemporary soon-to-be Mrs, this is the
perfect opportunity for an up-close and personal look at the stunning creations of top bridalwear specialists Alma Wong,
Hera Couture, Daisy, Modes, Vinka Design, Margaret Wray, Anna Schimmel, Jessica Bridal and Trish Peng in action.
As the number one fashion and beauty guide, Simply You knows a thing or two about style and this is your opportunity to

of motherhood and beyond.
Join designer Adrian Hailwood for this unique NZ Fashion Weekend experience as he is interviewed on the catwalk by Sonia
Sly of fashion Podcast My Heels Are Killing Me, discussing everything from the inspiration for his most recent
collection, to the energy and hype of creating a fashion show. Hailwood will then show his Spring / Summer 2018
collection with a full catwalk presentation, that is sure to be another fresh twist on his signature timeless and
elegant point of view.

embark on a journey to explore the invention of the humble cotton sweatshirt through music, dance, and style. A merging
