Second George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Alanis Morissette and Colin Hay of Men At Work fame concert Sells Out

Record ticket demand has continued for the upcoming Summer Concert Tour with all 18,000 tickets for the Queenstown concert being snapped up. The Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert sell out comes on the back of the Taupo Summer Concert sell out just days ago and less than two weeks after the 2018 Summer Concert Tour line up was announced.

With two of the three concerts in the tour now sold out, promoters Greenstone Entertainment are encouraging everyone who haven’t already bought a ticket to see George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Alanis Morissette and Colin Hay of Men At Work fame, to secure their ticket for the Whitianga Summer Concert on Saturday the 28th of January before they too are gone.

Demand for the Whitianga Summer Concert (the final show in the three date tour) has already surpassed last year’s ticket sales for the same period and is heading for another sell-out as well. Coinciding with Auckland Anniversary Weekend organisers say it’s the perfect opportunity to make a weekend break of it on the Coromandel - one of New Zealand’s favourite holiday locations.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers

As frontman, guitarist and principle songwriter for eighties hit machine Men at Work, Colin Hay is responsible for some of the most identifiable sounds in pop music, including hit songs Down Under, Be Good Johnny and Who Can It Be Now to name just a few.
