Mediaworks Bringing Tin Star to New Zealand
MediaWorks is pleased to announce that it has secured the rights to broadcast the highly anticipated new drama series, Tin Star.
Created by the producers of Broadchurch and Humans, Tin Star will see Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) and Tim Roth (The Hateful Eight) lead this ten-part thriller, set in the Canadian Rockies, which sees an expat British police officer (Roth) take a stand against an oil company fronted by the mysterious Mrs Bradshaw (Hendricks).
Ben Quinn, MediaWorks Head of Programming and Acquisitions said: “It’s really important to continue to bring premium drama series to New Zealanders on free to air television. We know that this style of content resonates really well with our audience and we are thrilled to be launching it the same week it premieres in the UK.”
MediaWorks will be broadcasting the ten-part series on Three later this year.
