Wellington prepares to host Netball NZ U19 Champs
Friday 7 July, 2017 - Some of the country’s best netballers will converge on ASB Sports Centre in Wellington for the Netball NZ U19 Champs, Monday 10 – Thursday 13 July.
20 teams will go head-to-head – up from 18 last year - all vying for the right to be crowned champions; an honour achieved by Wellington in 2016.
For the first time, Netball England will be sending an U19 team over to participate in the event as they set their sights on Netball World Youth Cup 2021.
The Netball NZ U19 Champs are a key step on the High Performance Pathway, not just for players, but also for umpires, coaches and officials to gain experience at the next level.
The Netball NZ U19 Champs will culminate in a Grand Final to be played at 4.30pm on Thursday 13 July.
