Trans-Tasman Teams Off to a Super Club Flyer

Published: Mon 3 Jul 2017 09:47 AM
New Zealand’s top three teams negotiated the opening day’s play with consummate ease after posting commanding wins at the inaugural Netball Super Club tournament in Nelson on Sunday.
The Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel, Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse and SKYCITY Mystics along with the NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) set the early benchmark in the first edition of the Super Club concept involving eight teams from different points of the globe.
All teams made liberal use of the unlimited substitution rule with players constantly coming and going, managed workloads being a key component to a busy week ahead.
