Published: Wed 28 Jun 2017 09:48 AM
Promoters Mal & Raylyne Siaosi of Multi Trade boxing organised a pre weigh in press conference late last week. This was organised due to amount of doubt around Pati being able to make weight for the the fight against New Zealand Champion Lance Bryant in July 8th.
Pati is currently at his lightest right now since being an amateur heavyweight (90kgs). Right now Pati has been losing weight, coming down from 120 kgs to fight as a cruiserweight and to attempt to win his first boxing title.
Junior Pati Officially weighed in at 96 kgs last thursday. As of today, there is 10 days till weigh in date, which means he has to lose 0.6 kgs per day to get down to the appropriate weight level.
It has been noted that if Junior Pati does not make weight, Lance Bryant will refuse to fight Pati in a non title fight.
The promoters has also announced today that two more professional bouts have been added onto the card including James Wilson vs Joe Betham and Evander Tia vs Peter Tovio.
