The St Paul’s Collegiate School 2017 musical is based on the classic thriller by Robert Louis Stevenson. It is the gripping tale of a brilliant mind gone horrifically awry. A compelling and curious story, Dr Henry Jekyll attempts to cure his ailing father’s mental illness by separating “good” from “evil” in the human personality. He wants to trial his theories on patients but when the governors of the hospital turn him down he decides to use himself for his experiments. Inadvertently, the talented physician creates an alternate personality of pure evil, Mr Hyde, who wreaks murderous havoc on the city of London. This is a story of ambition and evil, but at the same time of love and concern for other human beings. For more info and to book tickets, visit: https://www.stpauls.school.nz/tickets/event/22
