- When the
sides met for the first time in the ANZ Premiership in Round
3 the Steel defeated the Magic 72-59 in Invercargill.
- The Steel is the only undefeated team after seven rounds and sit at the top of the ANZ Premiership ladder with eight wins from eight matches.
- The Magic and Steel met 21 times in the former Trans-Tasman Netball League with the Magic winning 14 matches and the Steel seven.
- The Steel has the best attacking record in the competition with 71.2 goals per match while they have the second best defensive record conceding 53.3 goals per match and they have the third best shooting accuracy at 84.7%
- The Magic has the second best attacking record in the ANZ Premiership with 59.6 goals per match while they have the third best attacking record conceding 54.3 goals per match and they are the most accurate team at 88%.

- When the sides
met for the first time in the ANZ Premiership in Round 3,
the Pulse defeated the Tactix 48-37 in Wellington.
- The Pulse and Tactix met 18 times in the former Trans-Tasman Netball League with the Pulse winning 11 matches and the Tactix seven.
- The Pulse’s 18-goal win over the Stars in Round 7 is their biggest in the ANZ Premiership. This win is also the Pulse’s biggest ever win in their 10-year history dating back to the start of the former Trans-Tasman Netball League in 2008, when their biggest win was a 17-goal victory (62-45) over the Tactix in Round 11, 2013.
