World-renowned Tibetan musician to visit Dunedin in April
World-renowned Tibetan musician, Tenzin Choegyal, is visiting Dunedin! Over the years, Tenzin has built an international career as a musician playing prestigious venues such as WOMAD and Carnegie Hall, New York. He draws on his Tibetan roots to create original compositions which uniquely express his cultural lineage and the contemporary challenges faced by his people.

“We are very excited to have Tenzin visit Dunedin! He is a fantastic musician and this is a unique opportunity for people in Dunedin to have a glimpse of Tibetan culture” said Joe Llewellyn, one of the organisers of the event, and member of the Dhargyey Buddhist Centre who are hosting Tenzin.
The event is not for profit. Any additional funds will be donated to the Dhargyey Buddhist Centre.
All are welcome!
