Saturday 11 March, 2pm
This weekend we are pleased to
host visiting Auckland-based artist Eddie Clemens who will
discuss his expansive artwork Collector’s Edition
Glitch (Viewing Bridge), currently on show in the
exhibition Out of Site — Works from the Victoria
University of Wellington Art Collection. In conversation
with Stephen Cleland, Clemens will introduce his source
material—from unboxing Youtube videos to b-grade horror
films to footage from big-budget franchises such as the
Star Wars and Terminator series—and discuss
how these subjects find their way into his varied sculptural
and video-based projects.
