Check yourself out at the glittering Big Gay Out New World Marquee – Ending HIV Big Gay Out Sunday Feb 12, 2017

February 8, 2017 – The team from New World will be out to support New Zealand’s LGBTI community at the Ending HIV Big Gay Out event when Auckland’s Pride festival kicks offthis week. It’s New Zealand’s biggest harbourside celebration of rainbow diversity and we’re stoked to be able to support festival-goers with a fun experience that’s all part of making New Zealanders even happier.

“At New World we love to be a positive force in our local communities and help to create moments of happiness”, says Jules Lloyd-Jones, Foodstuffs NZ Group Brand Director, “and as the Ending HIV Big Gay Out is a time to be happy, no matter who you are, we’ll be there to celebrate this happiness with you.”

New World is proud to sponsor and participate in the Ending HIV Big Gay Out music festival in Point ‘Chev’ where we’ll be creating and capturing moments of happiness with a#NWSelfCheckout experience. Visitors to the glittering New World Marquee can enjoy a little pampering with hair, makeup and costume props. They then get to snap a selfie through thegold glittered “Self-Checkout” mirror, which can be shared on their social media feeds.

“We’re looking forward to a beautiful sunny day to get together with everyone and enjoy this free and fabulous concert. It’s exciting to be involved in one of the most colourful events this year and we urge Aucklanders and others to come along and celebrate the spirit of Pride.”
