Three Weeks until the Auckland International Buskers Festival!


This Auckland Anniversary Weekend from Friday 27 – Monday 30 January the Viaduct Harbour and CBD Waterfront will be taken over by eight professional busking acts from around the globe for the annual Auckland International Buskers Festival.
A dazzling array of skills, combined with comedy and charming showmanship, makes these outdoor shows a hit for all ages.
The acts will be available for interviews from Thursday 26 January.

Quatuor Stomp (CAN)
A four-man comedy circus troupe from Canada, whose show brings an eclectic range of skills together from acrobatics to playing with fire!
Alakazam “The Human Knot” (AUS/USA)
This jaw-dropping contortionist has performed in over 36 countries with his fast-paced, humorous, and often risky performances.
Jamey Mossengren (USA)
Jamey’s sky-high balancing skills have made him a 7-time world champion unicyclist! Honed over 26 years, his incredible talents make for a very exciting live show.
Kamikaze Fireflies (USA)
With four Guinness World Records and a standing ovation on America's Got Talent, this LA based screwball comedy duo love danger - wielding flaming hoops, cracking whips, and playing with knives.
Bikerina (Germany)
Trick cyclist Ina Bikerina is a unicycle champion, BMXer and acrobatic performer who currently holds several Australian unicycle records - all without losing her German ‘humour’.
Duke Dreamer (AUS)
An absurd and delightful performer, Duke transports audiences with his bizarre illusions, daring stunts, and kooky humour.
Mat Ricardo (UK)
The UK’s most successful juggler presents a quirky skillset with genuine danger, dexterous tricks, and some of the best juggling audiences can see.
Mr Qwirk (NZ)
Armed with a suitcase full of surprises and a wacky sense of humour, Mr Quirk does physical clowning like no other.

Locations are spread across the Auckland CBD Waterfront and include; Market Square, Viaduct Harbour, Princes Wharf, Queens Wharf and Lower Queen Street.

Auckland International Buskers Festival
Fri 27 Jan – Day Shows run from 12 noon -3pm; 5pm-7pm. Various Locations
Sat 28 Jan – Mon 30 Jan - Day Shows run from 12 noon-6pm. Various Locations.
Fri/Sat/Sun Night Shows start 7.30pm Market Square, Viaduct Harbour.
