Caledonia. Held in December, this is a 10-day training camp,
which is run as a culmination of the Oceania Talent

selected from all over the Oceania region as well as with
some of the top Oceania region lifters.
Wright is the
current under 15 National Champion in the 58kg weight

Clean and Jerk of 66kg, for a total of 118kg
Wright lifts for the 41° Weightlifting Club and has had a great year so far in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. Wright’s rapid rise in Olympic Weightlifting has come about through hard work and dedication, she says
“I really enjoy the strength and confidence I’ve gained through lifting, and the mental challenge it provides me. My results have been a bit of a surprise, and I’m thankful for the support of my family, Coach and mates at the gym who have helped me.”
She currently leads the new lifter improvement ranks with an increase in her lifts of 40kg this year.
