Great Categories for Teretonga Park - Event Preview

GREAT CATEGORIES FOR TERETONGA PARK
Pre 65 Saloons, South Island Formula Fords, Pro 7 Saloons, Mini 7 South and Noel McIntyre Drainage Clubmans Saloons will provide the entertainment at Teretonga Park near Invercargill this Sunday.
Southlanders, Wayne Tuffley (Ford Mustang) and John Smolenski (Ford Falcon XP), will spearhead the local challenge in a good field of Pre 65 Saloons while Jordan Michels and Ethan Anderson will be to the fore in the South Island Formula Ford field which also contains fast men Liam Lawson of Pukekohe and Cantabrian Michael Collins.
The Pro 7 field has a number of top drivers with Jack Milligan of Prebbleton, the winner of a recent Toyota 86 Scholarship drive, and Mitchell Hamilton of Pleasant Point up against former Toyota Racing Series Champion, Brent 'Bones' Collins of Timaru with Wayne Elliott of Invercargill also in the field.
Doug Erskine of Tuatapere plus Howard Kingsford-Smith and Alan Crawford of Invercargill uphold local honour in the Mini 7 South field.
Once again a good field of cars will line up for the Noel McIntyre Drainage Clubmans Saloon races with Liam MacDonald scheduled to drive his very quick Ford Falcon, now fitted with a large rear wing.
The action, presented by Downer, starts at 9.30am on Sunday and admission is just $15 with children 14 & under free.
