About the Video...
"My mate, Liam Moore who is an incredible artist made an initial video on his own fruition with a puppet of me for this song. When he showed me, I almost died. It's the most epic honor to have a puppet made after you. Totally, we look the same. Especially the gimp arm. Liam gets my total vibe and style, very DIY, very detailed, and freakin hilarious and it was awesome to be a part of one of his artworks and through video. There are moments that are just ridiculous in the video like the girls in the background by the bus noticing there is a camera and then stopping to pose. This is very much my style. Liam lives in a wonderland of 90s plastic treasures that he builds whole cities out of, it's incredible. This film was entirely made on an old-school point & shoot in Liam's house/studio, some abandon buildings, and the back-streets of Dominion Rd."
And about the track...
"More Than 10 Things" is a track made as a parody to the 90s classic film 10 Things I Hate About You. I wrote the verses initially as a poem on a whim for the guy I was dating at the time and then of course the relationship ended unfavourably and therefore...the song took on a new tone. I love you, I hate you, I love you, Eff you. Ironically he had always urged me to make music and I was going to surprise him with finally getting to the studio but timing wise of course, he became the subject and it ended up that I was in the studio in the grieving process stage of anger. I don't think I actually hate him though. I love him, I hate him. Maybe I should pick the petals off a rose."
